As per the firm, J-Solar Co., Ltd. was established to focus on solar power generation operations within the J-POWER Group. Led by President Hitoshi Kanno and headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, J-POWER is leveraging its extensive experience in power generation, spanning hydroelectric, wind (onshore and offshore), geothermal, and now solar energy.
The Himeji Oshio Solar Power Station, located in a strategic area, is poised to make a substantial contribution to Japan’s renewable energy capacity.
