Philippines-based Aboitiz Renewables Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corp., has signed a joint venture agreement with Singapore-based Vena Energy to invest in the 102 MW wind power project in Rizal and Laguna. The wind power project is expected to reach financial close and commercial operations in 2024 and 2025, respectively,the firm said. Renewable energy developer Vena Energy has entered into a framework agreement with technology suppliers for a cross-border clean energy ‘hybrid megaproject’ located in Indonesia’s Riau Islands province. Philippines-based ACEN has signed an amended and restated loan and security agreement with Nature’s Renewable Energy Devt. Corp. (NAREDCO) and CleanTech Renewable Energy 4 Corp. Indonesia and the United Kingdom (UK) have agreed to extend the MENTARI Energy Transition programme. In a statement, the Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif disclosed this.
