JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a leading global solar module manufacturer, has recently introduced its Neo Green panels, representing a significant leap in sustainable solar technology.

These N-type TOPCon Tiger Neo panels are manufactured in facilities that have received the prestigious “Zero Carbon Factory” certification from TÜV Rheinland, underscoring JinkoSolar’s commitment to stringent environmental standards. Notably, JinkoSolar is the inaugural recipient in the industry of the “Zero Carbon Factory” certification across various stages of production, including Silicon Ingot Manufacturing, Silicon Wafer Cutting, Solar Cell Manufacturing, and Solar Module Manufacturing.

This milestone reflects JinkoSolar’s dedication to fostering sustainability, innovation, and environmental stewardship throughout its operations. The initial 5GW capacity of Neo Green panels signifies the culmination of extensive research and development efforts. These endeavors have been coupled with a steadfast commitment to integrating eco-friendly practices across its vertically integrated supply chain. This includes harnessing solar, hydro, and wind-generated electricity in its wafer, cell, and module factories located in Leshan, Chuxiong, and Shangrao.

In alignment with its broader environmental initiatives, JinkoSolar aims to achieve 100% renewable energy usage for manufacturing and production processes. Additionally, the company is proactively increasing the utilization of recycled materials, transitioning to electric trucks and LNG-powered ships for logistics, and gradually reducing plastic usage in packaging.

Ms. Dany Qian, VP of JinkoSolar, commented, “We are extremely proud to release our first Neo Green Panels produced in factories that use electricity from renewable sources, a strong expression of our efforts to fulfill our commitment to sustainability. Our biggest impact on the environment will always come from providing customers with sustainable products and solutions that accelerate a greener future, reflecting the shared values of our customers, partners and investors.”

With this, JinkoSolar’s  exemplifies its proactive stance in driving sustainability within the solar industry while embracing innovation and environmental responsibility.
