Vena Energy, Vivant Energy and Aboitiz Renewables have joined hands to develop and operate the 206 megawatts (MW) San Isidro Wind Project in Central Philippines.
In its statement, Vena Energy said the Sonshore, an Isidro Wind Project will be one of the largest onshore wind projects in the country. It comprises 33 wind turbines with 6.25 MW each. The project is located in Northern Samar in the Visayas region.
The project is expected to reach a financial close and start construction in the fourth quarter of 2023 and benign commercial operation in the first quarter of 2025.
