In an initiative that will steer forward clean energy in Southeast Asia, Gentari Sdn Bhd (Gentari), which offers clean energy solutions, has entered into an agreement with Keppel’s Infrastructure Division. The MoU will pave the path for the exploration and development of sustainability-related opportunities in the region.
The MoU signing ceremony witnessed the presence of Gentari’s Chief Renewables Officer, Low Kian Min, and Tan Boon Leng, Managing Director of Keppel Infrastructure Holdings Pte Ltd. Gentari’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sushil Purohit, and Cindy Lim, CEO of Keppel’s Infrastructure Division.
The agreement between the two firm aims has set sights on partnering on renewable and low-carbon energy projects, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and roaming services. The firms also partner for Energy-as-a-Service opportunities.
Gentari’s CEO, Sushil Purohit, said about the collaboration, “We are excited to collaborate with Keppel via this MoU, as it represents a significant step in growing the application of sustainable energy solutions across Southeast Asia. By leveraging our combined capabilities in areas such as renewable energy, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and sustainable energy applications, we aim to deliver innovative solutions that support the region’s net zero ambitions.” He concluded, “Together, we are committed to reshaping the energy landscape and creating a greener future for Southeast Asia.”
