Japanese renewable energy company Renova Inc has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to supply renewable power to local petroleum products manufacturer and distributor Suzuyo Shoji Co. Ltd. As per the agreement, Renova will supply electricity derived from new solar power plants, to be developed by the firm. Russia’s Rosatom’s wind power division NovaWind has signed two wind power projects deals with Myanmar. The firm will develop a total of 372 megawatts (MW) of wind power projects in the country.
