Ningbo Deye ESS International Trading Co., Ltd. has been approved as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) by China Customs. This status is given to companies that meet national standards for internal operations and customs compliance.

AEO-certified companies receive faster processing during customs clearance. China Customs provides services such as lower inspection rates, reduced processing costs, and shorter clearance times. As part of recent policy changes, 17 new facilitation measures have been added to the existing 28. These include priority handling and fewer administrative steps.

In addition to direct customs benefits, the General Administration of Customs coordinates with other government departments to offer further support. These include simpler procedures and preferential treatment for AEO-certified firms. Some regional governments also provide local incentives.

Deye ESS International will now benefit from mutual recognition agreements that China has signed with several countries and regions. These agreements allow AEO companies to receive favorable treatment during customs inspections and quicker clearance in participating countries.

As a result of the certification, Deye expects to reduce delays and operating costs for its shipments. This may help the company improve its global logistics and maintain reliability during international trade disruptions.

The company operates as a subsidiary of Deye ESS, which manufactures battery storage and energy solutions. Deye has been involved in developing power electronics and renewable energy equipment, including inverters and hybrid storage systems.

Alongside this development, other renewable energy projects are active in China. In Gansu Province, a rural biomass energy pilot has been running since 2023, producing energy from agricultural waste. It has an installed capacity of 5 MW.

In Guangdong, a rooftop solar program across public hospitals began installations in 2024. The target capacity is 12 MW. The systems provide electricity to operating rooms and emergency facilities.
