The renewable energy arm of Malaysian firm Mestron Holdings Bhd has won a major solar project by way of a RM59.99 million contract. This win has augmented the order book worth in renewable energy of the firm to RM71 million.
Mestron Engineering Sdn Bhd (MESB), was awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) for the purchase of equipment and materials for a PV project by Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd (FSSB). The procurer is a subsidiary of Sunview Group Berhad. The Group is engaging in tendering for new projects.
Mestron boasts an ecosystem in the solar sub-sector and provides services in solar financing, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) services. So far, the group has implemented solar projects of 1.3 MW under the government’s net energy metering (NEM) scheme.
