Philippines Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) had exceeded its target renewable energy (RE) contracts with an equivalent capacity of 1,880 megawatts (MW) as part of its long-term sustainability strategy. Germany’s Augustus Global Investment has plans to invest $500 million in Indonesia’s Aceh province to build a green hydrogen plant next year. This was disclosed by its CEO Fadi Krikor recently during a press conference in Jakarta. SunAsia Energy, a solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm  will build 1.3 GW of floating solar PV (FPV) projects on the Laguna Lake, the largest lake in the Philippines.
